SPICY KOREAN CHICKEN! That's what you need to know. I really never get tired of this place. And I pretty much always order the same thing. It's tasty and a great value.

Ross J's Aloha Grill in Las Vegas is by far the best bang for your buck when it comes to Hawaiian cuisine. If you're craving authentic island flavors without breaking the bank, this is the spot. Their food selection is vast and packed with traditional Hawaiian favorites. From tender, juicy teriyaki chicken to perfectly seasoned kalua pork, every bite feels like a trip to the islands. Their plate lunches are generous, with portions that leave you more than satisfied, and you get a real taste of Hawaii with classic sides like macaroni salad and steamed rice. They also serve delicious loco moco, loaded with savory gravy and topped with a fried egg. If you're in the mood for something fried, their crispy chicken katsu is always a hit, and they have a variety of bento boxes and mixed plate that are fresh and flavorful. Whether you're new to Hawaiian food or a longtime fan, Ross J's serves up quality meals at unbeatable prices, making it a must-visit spot in Vegas.

This is my second time visiting here. First time I really liked their food a lot and this time was no different. Walking in it's a small place, the sign said it seats 70. Along with the tables there is are a few chairs to sit for take out. The restaurant is super clean and their menu clear. It's the type of place that you order at the register grab a seat and wait for your food, super simple and easy. Their menu has a variety of things on it from beef to chicken to fish all prepared a little differently and with island flavors. We got the combo bowl which was chicken and beef over rice with teriyaki sauce, I added some veggies too. We also got the chicken katsu and the cheeseburger for the little one. I also couldn't resist the lumpia. The food did take a little bit, but that was completely understandable because they constantly had a line. I was impressed how they kept up with the line, phone orders and, bringing and clearing plates. The food came hot and fresh, so it definitely didn't wait for pick up from the window. The teriyaki bowl was flavorful and fresh. The beef was tender, the chicken wasn't my favorite of the two but it wasn't bad. The chicken katsu was good. The sauce was thicker than I have seen but it had good flavor and the cheeseburger had no complaints. The lumpia was hot and tasty. The sweet chili sauce added some good flavor. The prices here are super good and the portions you get are huge. It is definitely worth checking out.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic Hawaiian restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. The staff truly embodied the spirit of Aloha, making me feel right at home. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Despite being busy during lunchtime, the atmosphere was surprisingly calm and not too loud, allowing for easy conversation and a relaxed meal.

I decided to try this place. There are a lot of people grabbing lunch! Cashier was very friendly and the restaurant was clean I ordered combination plate, Bento beef, chicken, and spam. It doesn't come with Mac. I ordered a side of macaroni salad. It was delicious! I will come back again

Ross J's! I love this place so so much. When I get the opportunity to visit, I will always come here for a plate. BTW: Ross J's has been my go to for over a decade now! It's always busy from open to close, but you can't blame the people because the food is just that good. It's very Mom & Pop so the vibes are chill, nothing uppidy at all. You can order over the phone, but it's easier to stop in & order because no matter what there's going to be a wait. I always get the Ross J's special which has teriyaki steak, fish, spam, and fried chicken. Tip: order the kimchi. I also grabbed some lumpia for my order. The special is a lot of food so with the lumpia included, I have two meals for the day. I just love the fried chicken in the special, I always put some of their Mac salad and kimchi on each bite. I love their meat jun, but it's always out when I stop in. If they have the meat jun available, please try that! Please.... If anyone hears me, I need meat jun ASAP :). Everything is a solid pick. Things to try: Ross J's special, meat jun, teriyaki hamburger, lumpia, fried chicken, combo bowl with veggies, and loco moco.

Hub and I were at an appointment nearby and found this on Yelp. We love going to mom and pop places instead of going to corporate restaurants. WOW!! Hawaiian food on steroids. Lots of food and team Island vibes were strong. Very busy place especially since it's tucked away in the Smiths shopping center. I had the combo plate special - Korean chicken, shrimp tempura, rice and Mac salad. Hubs had the teriyaki plate and a side of kimchi. The portion of food was so big that we brought home half of it. Korean chicken was crispy and flavorful. Hubs enjoyed his teriyaki chicken, fish and steak. Will definitely come back and try other things on the menu.

This was recommended by a friend of mine. So when we was in Las Vegas on vacation we had to try it out. We are always seeking good authentic Hawaiian cuisine, especially the Mac Salad. We have heard that there is a line during peak hours, but luckily there wasn't much of a wait and we were seated. I had the Chicken Katsu with Rice and Mac Salad. It was very good and the Mac Salad tasted just like Hawaii. My wife got the Kalua Pig & Cabbage with rice. It was good but it tasted a bit much on the salty side. There is so much selection on the menu. The regular sizes are plenty of food. If you don't have that much of an appetite, I suggest the Menehune Plates as they are the smaller portion of the entrees. We would definitely go back when we are back in town.

Food and service are very consistent. Staff is very friendly, everyone from the cashier/waitress to the chefs. They offer daily specials which is posted on a board by the register. Lots of island favorites to choose from seasoned and cooked perfectly. Serving sizes are huge. You can call in an order and it will be ready when you arrive or eat in option. They are quick to sanitize tables as customers finish eating and leave. Restrooms are clean and well stocked. I had the beef with tomatoes. It came with 2 scoops of rice and macaroni salad. There was enough for me to take home leftovers for another meal. One of their daily specials was Shanghai chicken lumpia (6 pieces) served with sweet and sauce chili sauce. YUMMMM! Lots of parking close by since it is located in a shopping center. (Easy access) This is my go to when I'm in town. I'll definitely be back!
